Past Works

Updated: Aug 27, 2021

Before I begin anew, I think it'd be only fair to first acknowledge the past. Here's a dump of ink drawings I've done pre pandemic, a showcase of the chaos I somehow put myself through to reason the eventual descent into focus and meaning.

You can probably tell the various compositional elements I implemented over time, but it wasn't enough. I began to grow weary of needless detail. Seeking to evoke meaning and emotion from my pieces, I took away the figure as well as the pen altogether as per my previous posts, trying the abstract. But of course eventually everything has to come full circle. My next posts will illustrate the present, showcasing where I'm at now after the various material abstractions.
